Here at Park Dental, we are proud to offer adult patients the option of discreet orthodontic treatment with invisible braces and clear aligners. Dr. Patel offers both Invisalign and Clear Correct for treating a range of mild to moderate concerns:
- crooked teeth
- gaps between teeth
- crowding of teeth
- orthodontic relapse in adults
Clear aligners are much less noticeable than metal braces but still give patients the smile they desire. After a thorough dental examination and evaluation using dental X-rays, we will be happy to discuss treatment options for improving your smile. We will go over the advantages and disadvantages of each so that together we can determine the right course of treatment for meeting your needs and expectations.
Invisalign: how does it work?
Invisalign uses a custom set of aligners to gently reposition the teeth according to the treatment plan designed by Dr. Patel using CAD/CAM software.
The process begins with digital impressions and a discussion of your cosmetic goals. Your personalized treatment plan will address both aesthetic desires and any dental health concerns affecting the comfort and function of your smile.
The custom aligners will be created in a lab and sent to our office. Once they are complete we will schedule a visit for the initial placement of the first set. You will wear the aligners 22 hours each day, removing them as needed for enjoying your favorite foods and brushing and flossing your teeth. We will provide care instructions for keeping the aligners clean and your smile healthy during treatment.
Periodic checkup visits will be scheduled to monitor your progress and ensure the best possible outcome.
Am I a candidate for Invisalign or Clear Correct?
Both of these clear aligner systems can be recommended for the majority of patients. Dr. Patel will meet with you to perform a dental exam before discussing the most suitable treatment options for your orthodontic needs.
How long is treatment with Invisalign?
The length of your treatment will depend on the severity of your concerns and the number of aligners necessary to achieve your goals. Dr. Patel will present treatment goals and estimated treatment time after your initial consultation and exam.
Is Invisalign more expensive than metal braces?
In most cases, the cost of treatment with a clear aligner system such as Invisalign or Clear Correct is comparable or less expensive than treatment costs associated with traditional braces. Dr. Patel will present treatment costs for your consideration after your consultation.
