Professional Teeth Whitening

When you think about getting a whiter smile at your dental office, this is probably what comes to mind. Professional teeth whitening gives you much better results than over-the-counter options. Drugstore whitening treatments are often one size fits all. You usually get blotchy and uneven results and risk sensitivity in the soft tissue if the bleaching agent comes into contact with your gums.

At Park Dental, we offer KoR Teeth Whitening. KoR products are scientifically designed to improve the natural ability your teeth have to absorb oxygen and the whitening treatment KoR provides. With this formula, KoR is able to penetrate deeper than many other whitening solutions.

We offer KoR Whitening for take-home treatment. First, impressions are taken so that custom whitening trays can be made to perfectly fit your teeth. You put the provided professional-grade whitening gel in the trays to evenly bleach and whiten your smile. Since this takes place over time, Dr. Patel will create a personalized timeline for the number of weeks you’ll need to wear the trays at night.

Porcelain Veneers

Not all staining is responsive to traditional whitening techniques. Porcelain veneers offer a permanent solution for teeth stained due to things like genetics and medications. Veneers are thin shells of dental ceramic that go over the front and sides of the teeth. The material is made to be durable and stain-resistant, offering a solution that lasts.

To get veneers, we’ll first remove some of your tooth structure. We want to make sure the veneers lay flat and flush with the rest of your smile. Impressions are taken to custom-make the veneers for your teeth. When they’re ready, they’ll be fitted to make sure they look and feel comfortable. If you’re satisfied, they’re permanently bonded to your teeth.

Dental Bonding

If you’re looking for a solution that’s economical and you aren’t ready for something permanent, dental bonding may work best for you. The bonding material is made of a malleable composite resin that’s color-matched to the shade you’re looking for. Since it’s malleable, it can also take care of cosmetic chips and cracks.

For bonding, we remove a minimal amount of tooth structure to ensure the resin adheres to the tooth. It’s molded into the shape of your tooth to look natural. Once you’re satisfied, the material will be cured and hardened by a special light. It’s then polished to match the sheen of the rest of your teeth.
